IO1 – State of the art: Cultural Diversity in Small & Rural Communities

The scope of ΙΟ1 is to present the state of the art as regards integration of migrants in both the professional sector and the community in small and rural communities. The aim is to identify good or promising practices about digital storytelling, promoting cultural diversity and solidarity in five European countries. It contains results from both literature review and two focus groups which took place in each participant country; the first one included representatives of migrant communities, while the second one representatives of native residents, including employers, owners of small businesses and managers.

In parallel, IO1 identifies good practices of digital storytelling applied in other EU countries, which could be transferred and adapted to the national contexts of the involved countries, as well as of other EU countries.
